Ryan Fish's recently completed Tyrol Hills Residence is featured in the February 2012 issue of Kitchen & Bath Ideas magazine! This nearly "net-zero" home, featuring geothermal heating/cooling paired with photovoltaic solar panels, is a testament to how sustainable architecture and traditional design can successfully work together.

New Year, New Staff

Happy New Year! We are pleased to welcome Jason Briles and Tommy Everson to our design team. Jason brings over 16 years of residential experience to P/K, including work on many award winning projects, including a LEED Gold project. Tommy joins us as an intern after completing his Masters in Architecture and working with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, an organization that P/K is looking to partner with in the coming year.

2011 COTY AWARDS: TYROL HILL MODERN

Our recent collaboration with Bob Near of Streeter & Associates, the Tyrol Hill Modern residence, just received two COTY Awards from NARI Minnesota, including best whole house renovation! The awards recognize excellence in aesthetics, functionality, superior craftsmanship, use of innovative construction materials and techniques, overcoming difficult obstacles, and meeting client needs. We are proud that this transformation of a 1980's home, which integrated unique materials within an organic modern design, has been recognized!
