Linden Hills Craftsman

This new Craftsman home fits respectfully into Linden Hills, a close-knit neighborhood filled with bungalows. The house replaced a deteriorated structure that was out of scale with its surroundings and was dominated by an attached garage facing the street. The new home, constructed to a high level of quality by Elevations, is filled with traditional detailing and generous, open spaces. On the outside it blends with the aesthetic traditions of the area, looking as if it has always been there, while on the inside the light-filled spaces are suited to contemporary life. This home, which received a 2009 BLEND Award for respecting the character of its neighborhood, was featured on the Parade of Homes 2009 Fall Showcase.
